I’m fine with angry emails if it’s in regards to my work, but me writing about a company doesn’t mean I own it or am a customer service rep for it.
I get these requests all the time, but this one was particularly nasty.
By the way, the people at Quidsi (Wag.com, Soap.com) are actually quite skilled at customer service. Why else would Amazon spend 9 digits to acquire them?

I have received similar emails, as well. We should start a blog about it…
Side effects I do *not* miss from the days of writing for Mashable, Profy, Blorge, etc 🙂
I wonder how you got the email in the first place. Anyway, I am guessing the author of the email did not read the article or post in question which you authored. @Ben, next time write about excellent companies only. About Amazon acquiring them, that has no bearing on whether they (Wag.com) have “quite skilled customer service” or not. You and I know that big fish prey on small fish for various reasons including the desire to kill them before they get into the hands of someone that could make them big. Your post does sound like you work for them….somehow.
But some of us like to complain, and emails and comment sections are such cozy things to do that in.
