Introducing: The BenParr.com iPhone App!

A few days ago, I wrote on Mashable about a new service called iSites, which lets you create your own, self-branded iPhone and Android app. For $25, you can have your blog, Twitter, and social feeds wrapped up into mobile form.

As part of the write-up, iSites was kind enough to help me build my very own iPhone app

I am excited and proud to announce the release of the Ben Parr iPhone App [iTunes], now available in the iTunes store!

The app, which you can see below, provides a direct link to my BenParr.com articles, my Twitter feed, and the ability to share my thoughts with everyone else. In the coming weeks, I’ll be adding some more feeds, including my Mashable article feed.

You can download the app now from the iTunes store. Let me know what you think in the comments!

  1. These new app generation ‘stores’ are a great idea – and relatively (after a bit of cunning code-fu!) easy to do. I think we’ll be seeing a LOT more of these.

I see the app ‘seller’ listed as Genwi LLC. I’m interested to know who gets the revenue from the embedded ads? You or them? Or it is split?

  2. congrats @benparr Will download it for sure. Is there going to be anything about puppies on the iphone app? I have no idea y u talk about puppies. An inside joke im guessing.

  5. Ben, Awesome! Now I finally have a reason to convince my husband to get an IPhone. I love to follow your stuff, because your content is so awesome. and you clearly have a grasp of what’s happening. My husband who is a technologist Scott Brownstein.wordpress.com is all into the Nexus phone. He believes that Nexus is to cell phones as Vonage and VOIP is to land lines. Love to know your thoughts on this. As an aside, I have a new Bernese Mountain Dog puppy!

  7. Impressive. Does the app manage to pick up embedded video? That would be very helpful to me, but it looks like one of your posts is on the app without the accompanying video.
